We aim to exceed all expectations and to create a truly magical experience for the child and their family by creating unforgettable memories.

Treatment of cancer and other serious illnesses in children often involves painful procedures causing a child and their family to become very distressed. During this time it can be very difficult to make a child happy – this is what Angelic Stars does best in hospitals and hospices all over the country. Fulfilling a dream can help a child or a young person to think beyond their illness and focus on something positive and empowering. The experience can create amazing memories for both the child and the families involved.

The majority of our requests for support come from consultants, GPs, NHS children’s community nurses and hospital social workers. By working together with these healthcare professionals, Angelic Stars helps sick children and their families who are hospitalised for whatever reason.

All Angelic Stars activities are aimed at distracting children from the fear, isolation and pain that they can often feel as a result of their illnesses. Below is a list of some of the events and activities that we organise for children and their families:

  • Angelic Stars Wishes arranges for sick children to meet their heroes and fulfil other wishes
  • Families can enjoy much-needed breaks from a hospitalised environment with Angelic Stars Escapes
  • Provide Angelic Stars Distraction Boxes to wards containing toys, games and puzzles to take their mind of treatment
  • Organise Angelic Stars Parties in hospices and hospitals across the UK (we will provide decorations and funds for party expenses such as face painters, food, discos, entertainers and goody bags)
  • Angelic Stars Entertainment events at venues so children can play games and watch movies
  • Surprise children with an Angelic Stars Gift for special occasions such as birthday’s or Christmas
