The Adcote School Rotary Club helping raise funds for Angelic Stars
The School Summer Fête is the main fundraising event run by The Friends of Adcote and The Rotary Club during the year.
This years Summer Fête was jam-packed with fun, traditional fête games and competitions, including Adcote’s Got Talent and Adcote’s Great British Bake Off.
Main arena performances by the Adcote Choir, Gymnastic Squad and Adcote’s Got Talent. Other activities included Water Wars, Tug of War and Penalty Shoot Out…to name but a few!
Angelic Stars are very grateful for your support. As a result of your generosity we are able to further our mission in helping better the lives of sick children.
You can also help us by donating online, your kind donation will support hundreds of children and their families.
Many of our supporters organise and participate in fundraising events for Angelic Stars. These charity events provide essential funding and help us offer the best support to children and their families from across UK. Your workplace, school or university can help support us by organising fundraising activities throughout the year.
There are many fundraising ideas which you can enjoy organising or participating in. Below are some ideas to inspire you to support Angelic Stars. Don’t forget you can get as many family, friends or colleagues involved!
- Hold a Coffee Morning – sell cakes and biscuits
- Have a Dress Down Day
- Organise a Sports Day
- Participate in a Talent Competition – hold a contest to showcase the talents of your friends and family
- Invite your friends to a Barbeque
- Hold a Bring and Buy sale – sell donated goods on a stall
- Have a Bake Off competition – you can bake cakes, pies and biscuits and see who can produce the tastiest sponge!
- Car Wash Stall – charge your teachers, friends and family to wash their cars
- Fancy Dress – go crazy with outrageous and colourful costumes!
- Face Painting Competition – put your artistic talents to good use and paint faces
- Set up a Stall – set up a variety of stalls, from plants or cakes to recycled goods
